Do you need to take a Gateway Retest this summer?
(the registration date for the Gateway Alternate Test has already past)
You need to REGISTER on your MyPaymentsPlus (no fee) no later than MAY 24th
HOW TO REGISTER:
CURRENT GCPS STUDENTS:
You will go to your MyPaymentPlus to register for the free exam.
You will go to the “Post Graduate Gateway Test Registration” (even though you aren’t “post-grad”)
You will either take the RETEST or the ALTERNATE. (***see below if you are not sure)
(If you are taking the Retest, you will enter “N/A” for “Year of Certificate Attendance” and “Last month of attendance” on the online application. CLICK HERE for a picture of an example)
(If you are “walking at graduation” but not recieving a diploma until you complete your Gateway requirements (already told by your counselor that you should take the alternate), you will choose Alternate and will enter “May 25th, 2016” for “Year of Certificate Attendance” and “Last month of attendance” on the online application. CLICK HERE for a picture example)
POST-GRAD Previous students that have or will have a “Certificate of Attendance” on May 25th, 2016
You will create a guest account for MyPaymentsPlus. CLICK HERE for Instructions on creating a guest account.
You will go to the “Post Graduate Gateway Test Registration”
You will take the ALTERNATE.
All current students who needs a Gateway Retake (that are not taking the Alternate).
Science: Monday, June 6, 8:30am
Social Studies: Monday, June 6, 1:00pm
*Note: current students taking the Retest should put “NA” and “NA” in the application when it asks for “Year of Certificate of Attendance” and “Last month and year of attendance in a Gwinnett County School” CLICK HERE for a picture of an example
ALTERNATE test takers:
Either Post-Grads OR you have been told by your counselor that you are approved for the alternate.
Intervention Sessions: Tuesday May 31-Thursday, June 2
• Science: 7:30-10:15 am OR 5:30-8:15pm
• Social Studies: 10:30-1:15pm OR 2:30-5:15pm
• Science: Friday, June 3, 8:30am
• Social Studies: Friday, June 3, 1pm
