Central Gwinnett Theatre Presents…
Cyrano de BurgerShack
Cyrano de BurgerShack by Jeremy Desmon is a classic tale of teenage love. This play is a more updated modern version of the original play Cyrano de Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. Cyrano de Bergerac is a teenage boy who has a huge crush on his childhood friend Roxane. There is only one problem…Roxane has a crush on the new burger-flipper Christian. Cyrano then decides that he will write letters and poems to Roxane but have Christian give them to Roxane pretending that those letters and poems are his own.
Cyrano de BurgerShack is a play that is really relatable to teens everywhere. With music such as “We Got the Beat” by the Go-Go’s, “My Prerogative” by Bobby Brown, “Just The Way You Are” by Bruno Mars, “Firework” by Katy Perry, “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen, and many more popular songs. While the show is a play teenagers can sing along to the songs in the show and just all around have a great time while also enjoying a well-written play.
